A Technical Writer writes product instructions, user manuals or other material that helps to explain complex information or procedures. Writes help information available to customers online, or clear explanations of company policies. Supports internal communication among different technical, engineering and scientific specialists working on a project or product. Creates product documentation, and provides input for improving product design.
We are seeking a Technical Writer to join our Secure global product team. Our technical writers create, edit, and format internal and client -facing documentation that guides customers through integrating with our products and services, including implementation guides, best practices, FAQs, technical specifications, and additional supporting materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain comprehensive internal and client facing documentation, including (but not limited to): implementation guides, program guides, technical reference materials, and best practices. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand technical concepts and present them in clear, accurate, and client friendly language. Ensure all documentation is consistent, aligned with style guidelines, and technically correct through thorough review and editing. Own the documentation workflow process end-to-end, prioritizing JIRA tickets for active projects, setting intake and review meeting cadence with global product team members and publications to internal/external storage locations. Maintain inventory log of all documentation with latest working drafts, published versions while building capacity planning workbook for outlining essential due dates and progress against business needs and standard service-level agreements against publication processes. Leverage AI tools (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) for content drafting, style checking, and consistency reviews. Drive accountability with product owners on content, due dates, stakeholder engagement and publication supporting the end-to-end documentation process by engaging in 1:1 or group-based alignment activities.
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of technical writing experience, preferably for client-facing products or technical materials which can include developers, fraud analysts, and payment professionals. Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and clarity. Interest in and some experience with AI tools for content creation or automation.
