Suports with periodic inspections and general overhaul and repairs or modifications requiring replacement and assembly of parts. Assists with consulting manufacturers' manuals for specifications and determines feasibility of repair or replacement. Requires FAA aircraft and engine mechanic license. In this position of the Integrated Product Support (IPS) IPT Technical Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the IPT Technical Manuals Writing Team and the associated internal data bases used to develop and deliver technical manuals for a classified system and its new capabilities. The ideal candidate will provide daily management of technical writing personnel, prioritizing key taskings to meet various technical manuals contract deliverables requirements and schedules. The selected candidate will also be responsible for authoring specific technical publications, as well as developing and implementing the Integrated Product Support IPT's internal processes to assist in the development and delivery of the Enterprise's technical manuals requirements for both sustainment and development programs. The successful candidate should have excellent organizational and personnel skills in managing informational data bases and be able to track a multitude of engineering data, which will correlate with various sustainment and new manual development updates and deliveries to customers. Must be able to understand and interpret system technical orders, illustrated parts manuals, technical drawings and schematic diagrams. Basic Qualifications Experience in developing and authoring technical publications Experience interfacing with operational and maintenance personnel in dynamic operational work environments Experience developing Interactive Electronic Technical manuals (IETMs) (e.g. Quicksilver, Arbortext, XML, or S1000D format.)
Active Secret Clearance Desired Skills Security Clearance:
Top Secret/SCI Bachelor's Degree or higher in Technical Discipline. Ability to effectively work with multiple engineering, software, supportability, and logistics disciplines to develop highly accurate technical manuals.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
