Technical Writer
Job Description
USCP OIS.
The Technical Writer will work with subject matter experts and project teams to produce accurate, clear, consistent documentation aligned with organizational standards. Key Responsibilities- Prepare, edit, and maintain manuals, guides, training materials, reports, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Work with subject matter experts to gather, validate, and organize technical information.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, clear, consistent, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Support document reviews, revisions, version control, and publishing processes.
- Interface with the Document Workflow System to route documents through required reviews and sign-offs.
- Coordinate document updates and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
- Support preparation of project, program, transition, and operational deliverables.
- Maintain organized documentation and support timely completion of required deliverables. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of technical writing and desktop publishing experience.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Microsoft Office/document production experience.
