Process Design Consultant#26-08033 Newark, DE Hybrid Contract Starts 9/01/2026 Ends 8/31/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Writer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Newark, DE. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role will focus on theplete rebuild and redesign of all enterprise-level documentation from scratch, including procedures, user guides, and training materials. The Technical Writer will also be responsible for migrating all customer-facing content from SharePoint to Confluence, building a fully structured and intuitive documentation library while collaborating closely with subject matter experts.
Responsibilities:
Focus on theplete rebuild/redesign of all documentation from scratch including Procedures, User Guides, and Training docs Migrate all customer facing content from SharePoint into Confluence Create clear, concise procedural docs, job aids, and training materials Build a fully structured Confluence documentation library that includes intuitive page hierarchies, templates, navigation, labeling, and content organization best practices Work within existing Confluence spaces, standardizing page layouts, improving searchability, and ensuring documentation is easy for teams to consume and maintain Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather, clarify, and validate technical information, ensuring that all content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with updated documentation standards Deliver fully rewritten procedure and user documentation Create new Confluence pages and an organized documentation library Develop mixed-media training and onboarding materials (quick starts, how-tos, reference sheets)
Requirements:
5+ years technical writing experience Strong ability to simplify and structureplex processes Expert in Microsoft Word and Confluence Familiarity with SharePoint pages, lists, and document libraries Experience with documentation redesign, cleanup, or migration is highly preferred Excellent interviewing, organization, and content-structuring skills Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality content quickly Desired skills: Familiarity with technical Business Continuity & Operational Resiliency concepts Understanding of relationship between, and flow from Policy, Standards, Process, & Procedures Pay range: $78.03 - $86.03 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
