Intrinsic is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Documentation & Knowledge Transfer Specialist to join a highly talented development team working on modern simulation platforms for the Aerospace industry. You will be an integral team member generating user manuals and technical documentation. Our product team works closely with end users who are tasked to make the right decision under unique and dynamic conditions. Our analytical tools need to enable that effective decision making. This is a significant opportunity to work closely with assembled experts on a dedicated and talented team. Employment is contingent upon contract award. As a team member, you will: Communicate directly with project stakeholders to define user training guides and document software specifications Review and request existing technical documentation to verify accuracy Work with engineers to understand software architecture and generate API documentation Conduct training sessions and workshops with end users Work on a dynamic, adaptable, and high performing team Rapidly grow your skills with the latest technology Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communication, or similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience DoD Top Secret SCI Clearance Knowledge of software engineering principles and documentation best practices Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, word processing, graphics editing, and drawing applications Strong spoken and written communication abilities Familiarity with data science and statistics Desire and interest to learn and grow outside core job requirements US Citizenship Preferred qualifications: Experience writing data dictionaries, SOPs, API documentation, and model specifications Ability to perform word processing, graphics editing, technical manual formatting, and proofing Experience supporting technical manual production and archiving
