Technical WriterPosition PurposeThe Technical Writer supports the JTMS Joint Program Office by ensuring meetings, decisions, and program activities are accurately documented, organized, and preserved. This role provides disciplined documentation and records support that enables leadership continuity, auditability, and effective coordination across the program.What Success Looks LikeMeetings, working groups, and briefings are captured clearly with accurate minutes, decisions, and action items.
Program records and SharePoint repositories are current, organized, and reliable.
Documentation provided to senior leaders is clear, consistent, and professionally formatted.
Program teams can readily access authoritative records to support execution and decision-making.
How the Work Gets Done at ParagonAt Paragon, documentation is treated as an operational responsibility, not an afterthought. Technical Writers work closely with program staff and leadership to ensure information is captured accurately, managed responsibly, and maintained in accordance with government expectations for transparency and accountability.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduce meeting agendas, minutes, and action item logs that accurately reflect discussions and decisions.
Maintain SharePoint sites and records repositories to ensure information is current, organized, and accessible.
Support conferences, working groups, and senior leader briefings through documentation and administrative coordination.
Assist with document formatting, version control, and records management activities.
Ensure consistency and professionalism across program documentation.
Required QualificationsAssociates degree or equivalent experience.
Active SECRET security clearance.
Minimum of one (1) year of technical or administrative writing experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint.
Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting DoD Program Management Offices (PMOs).Familiarity with government tasking, correspondence, or records management systems.
Working ConditionsWork is performed in support of a government program environment.
Position requires maintaining an active SECRET clearance.
Work location and schedule will align with JTMS program and customer requirements.
