SUMMARY:
The Pursuits Specialist provides critical support for the project procurement process and pursuit of new business. Daily responsibilities include developing and submitting multidisciplinary and collaborative proposals to a wide range of private and public sector clients. Coordinates proposal response and team assignments; supports proposal development and writing; writes and edits proposal narratives; and serves as proposal liaison to all Market Sector groups. Must champion + maintain DAVIS' brand standards across the board.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing or Construction related field, or equivalent experience At least five (5) years of previous ; minimum of two (2) years of which should be specifically with proposal and presentation development related responsibilities; must have a demonstrated high level of experience and understanding of private + public sector proposal process Strong technical writing, editing and proof-reading experience Strong experience level with GSA proposal forms and other technical government proposal preparation Expert organizational and time management skills to coordinate projects and people, prioritize and track multiple projects simultaneously, and meet critical deadlines Expert skill level + experience using MS office suite, various graphics and presentation programs ( i.e. Adobe Creative Suite) Strong ability to write creatively and to appeal appropriately to each audience with each message Strong understanding of

industry, its dynamics and touchpoints Related certifications a plus (APMP and / or LEED accredited)
TECHNICAL JOB KNOWLEDGE
Proposal Development:
Manages the development of multiple proposals, including response production, layout, and final delivery
Strategic Guidance:
Provides strategic guidance and coaching throughout the proposal and presentation process
Content Creation:
Writes, edits, and proofreads comprehensive narrative and proposal materials
Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements
Data Management:
Maintains and updates project descriptions, employee resumes, and certifications
Presentation Formatting:
Leads presentation formatting and content development specific to each proposal
Collaboration:
Supports and collaboration with Market Sectors and key DAVIS stakeholders to formulate and submit proposals
Template Management:
Creates templates, checklists, and boilerplate documents to support proposal development
Brand Standards:
Champions and maintains DAVIS' brand standards across all materials
Industry Knowledge:
Stays current with DAVIS projects, potential projects, staffing, services, differentiators, experience, personnel information, and history
