These include proposal preparation, CRM database maintenance, preparation of general marketing materials, and communication and coordination with clients and subconsultants in addition to other general office duties as assigned. The position is responsible for maintaining good relationships with A/E firms and procurement offices.

Essential Functions:
Utilize Microsoft Office products, Adobe Suite such as InDesign, Deltek, and other industry software. Populate and maintain relevant data into our CRM system. Source and analyze RFPs, RFQs, Sources Sought, and other solicitations using GovWin, EMMA, and similar search software. Proposal development, production, and delivery
  • including organization, formatting, copywriting, and copyediting for qualifications such as covers, project sheets, resumes, organization charts, and supplementary content.
Contact and coordinate with primes and consultants. Attend pre-proposal meetings (in-person and virtually). Develop, edit, and write marketing materials. Execute photo shoots with employees and client projects. Create monthly email blasts geared towards specific clients and/or market sectors. Manage intranet/website initiatives such as news story cultivation. Develop and maintain the firm's digital presence with emphasis on social media and news/publication outlets.

Ability to provide the proper discretion required in overseeing sensitive documentation. Education and Experience :
(a) Required
  • Associates Degree in business from College or University program. (b) Preferred
  • Four-year Degree in Business from a College or University program. Three-plus years in Marketing or Proposal/Technical Writing. Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction industry. Supervisory Responsibility
  • Ability to direct and follow up with staff to ensure deadlines are met. Work Environment
  • Most work is performed in an office environment. Regular trips to a variety of locations for meetings and observations are also required. Expected Hours
  • This is a full-time position based on a 40-hour work week.
A 7AM to 9AM start time will be negotiated with your supervisor. Schedule will be coordinated with the normal Monday through Friday, 9AM to 3PM core hours. An unpaid lunch hour beginning at 11:45AM is available. Requires adjusting schedule to suit clients and working overtime as necessary to satisfactorily meet project schedules. Physical Demands
  • This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time though standing desks are provided.
It also requires the use of basic motor, oral, and visual skills, such as the ability to walk, use hands, talk, hear, and the ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, and to adjust focus. It requires the ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry materials weighing up to 25 lbs. Travel
  • This position requires occasional day trips throughout the mid-Atlantic area. It requires an occasional overnight trip and travel by plane. It requires a valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle. Work Authorization/Security Clearance
