TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Greensboro, NC . This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels at transforming complex technical information into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation. As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to develop high-quality documentation that supports end users, internal stakeholders, and customers. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator who can manage multiple projects while maintaining consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and organize technical information. Develop clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, process documentation, and online help content. Ensure consistency in style, terminology, formatting, and messaging across all documentation. Review, edit, and update technical content for clarity, accuracy, usability, and completeness. Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards. Work closely with subject matter experts to understand complex processes and translate technical concepts for various audiences. Maintain documentation within content management systems and support version control processes. Assist in establishing and maintaining documentation standards and best practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in technical writing, documentation development, or a related field.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and effectively.
Documentation Tools:
Experience with tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, or similar documentation platforms.
Content Management:
Familiarity with content management systems, documentation repositories, and version control practices. Attention to

Strong proofreading, editing, and quality assurance skills.
Organization:
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Collaboration:
Proven ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Background:
Experience creating documentation for engineering, manufacturing, software, or technical products.
Process Documentation:
Experience developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, and workflow documentation.
Project Coordination:
Ability to manage documentation timelines and coordinate deliverables across multiple teams.
User-Focused Writing:
