Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Technical Writer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to create and maintain department manuals within the company, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards. Additionally, the Technical Writer will collaborate closely with the Compliance Director to update and enhance compliance documents as necessary.Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive department manuals that outline procedures, policies, and guidelines in clear and concise language.Collaborate with department managers across various departments to gather information and ensure accuracy of content.
Update existing manuals on a regular basis to reflect changes in procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with the Compliance Director to review and revise compliance documents, ensuring adherence to industry standards and legal requirements.
Ensure all documents are formatted, edited, and published according to company standards and branding guidelines.
Maintain a repository of all manuals and documents, ensuring version control and accessibility for all stakeholders.
Continuously improve documentation processes and standards based on feedback and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field.Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar roleExcellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with document management software.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
