Job Description Assist the Technical Writing staff with completion of final reports by one or all of the following means: organize and page stamp raw data, enter data for sponsor information in appropriate formats, scan data/documents as needed, photocopy reports for archives, and mail final reports to Sponsor in compliance with applicable PSL SOP's, and compatible computer equipment. Interact with sponsors regarding report status inquiries. Other duties as assigned by the Technical Writing Supervisor or appropriate personnel. Qualifications The individual assigned to this position must be of the highest integrity and should have a previous work history that incorporates a variety of disciplines applicable to this job. Candidate must be proficient with MS Office (e.g., MS Word and word processing, MS Excel, etc.) or other appropriate computer software. The assigned individual must be an excellent communicator (written and verbal) so that instructions from senior personnel and sponsors are followed carefully and thoroughly. An Assistant Technical Writer must be able to evaluate and organize raw data for the generation of reports or archival. In addition, s/he must be well organized, tactful, and be able to organize his/her work schedule to ensure tasks are completed on time and in flawless condition.
