Job Description

We are a fast-growing group of companies working across modular housing, construction, real estate investment, and nonprofit community development. Our mission is to deliver innovative, sustainable, and affordable housing solutions throughout New Mexico. We are seeking a Proposal & Grant Writer to help us secure funding and contracts by developing strong grant applications, RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs for both our nonprofit and for-profit divisions.
Responsibilities:
Research, write, and submit grant proposals, RFP/RFI/RFQ responses. Develop templates and standard language libraries to speed up submissions. Work with leadership, project management, and nonprofit teams to gather technical documents and financial information. Track deadlines and maintain a grant and proposal calendar. Assist with opportunity research across housing, construction, social services, and infrastructure sectors. Use AI writing tools as needed to support efficiency (ChatGPT, Jasper, Grammarly, etc.).
Requirements:
1+ year of professional grant writing or proposal writing experience. Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills. Ability to analyze RFPs and grant solicitations and produce compliant responses. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Familiarity with Grants.gov, SAM.gov, Bonfire, BidNet, or similar platforms is a plus but not required. AI software experience is helpful but not required. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required based on writing skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
1099 Contractor (Full-Time, In-Office)
Base Pay:
$45,000-$60,000 annually based on experience.
