Full-Time, On-site/Remote What You Will Do G2-PM Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Procedure Writer to develop and maintain high quality operational, maintenance, commissioning, and safety procedures . This role is essential to ensuring safe, compliant, and consistent operations of a complex nuclear/chemical processing facility. Working closely with engineers, operators, nuclear safety analysts, and subject matter experts, you will translate complex technical concepts into clear, usable procedural guidance that meets LANL and DOE standards. Key Responsibilities Write, revise, and standardize operating, maintenance, surveillance, testing, emergency, and commissioning procedures. Conduct field walkdowns with engineering and operations personnel to verify system configurations and procedural accuracy. Support as-built documentation updates and incorporate redlines, design changes, and configuration adjustments. Ensure procedure compliance with LANL institutional requirements, DOE directives, nuclear safety basis controls, and facility-specific technical standards. Facilitate procedure reviews, comment resolution, and formal approval workflows. Collaborate with subject matter experts to interpret engineering drawings, system descriptions, and technical data. Participate in procedure validation activities, including tabletop reviews and field validations. Provide clear documentation that enables safe and effective operator performance. Minimum Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Writing, Operations, or relevant discipline OR equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience writing technical or operational procedures. Ability to clearly translate complex technical content into structured, accurate procedural steps. Strong attention to detail and commitment to procedural discipline. Experience in industrial, chemical, nuclear, or high hazard work environments. Desired Qualifications Knowledge of DOE, nuclear facility procedures, conduct of operations, or hazard category facility requirements. Familiarity with TLW systems (mechanical, chemical processing, waste handling, instrumentation, and controls). Experience facilitating procedure reviews with multi-disciplinary teams. Pay:
$50.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
