ABOUT THE ROLE

Develop technical documents within the engineering department to support multiple facets of the business.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Documentation Creation:

Develop comprehensive and user-friendly documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, specifications, release notes, and troubleshooting documentation. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and ensure the accuracy of technical content.

Content Maintenance:

Regularly update and revise existing documentation to reflect product updates, enhancements, and changes. Monitor feedback from users and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in documentation.

Collaboration:

Work closely with Engineering, Product Managers, Sales, and other teams to gather information and ensure product functionality and documentation alignment.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct reviews and edits to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all written materials. Perform usability testing to validate the effectiveness of documentation.

Documentation Standards:

Establish and maintain documentation standards, style guides, and best practices. Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure documentation remains relevant.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, etc.), or four years of experience as a

Technical Writer Required Computer and Software Skills:

Proficiency with MS Office required. AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience a plus.

Travel Requirements:

None - must be onsite at Grants Pass, OR facility
