Write advanced SQL queries utilizing:
Complex joins Subqueries Common Table Expressions (CTEs) Window functions Aggregations Parameterized queries Performance-aware query techniques Develop operational and paginated reports using SQL Server reporting technologies such as SSRS and Power BI Report Builder . Build and maintain data sources, datasets, report parameters, stored procedures, and views. Develop reusable, business-friendly reporting datasets and semantic layers. Work with curated reporting tables and standardized reporting structures. Help establish and maintain consistent calculations, metrics, and business definitions across enterprise reports. Design dashboards and visualizations that translate complex healthcare data into actionable information. Develop reporting solutions for operational users as well as self-service analytics. Build filters, slicers, parameters, and other tools that allow users to explore information efficiently. Troubleshoot inefficient report queries and identify opportunities to improve performance. Apply query-tuning and indexing concepts when appropriate. Understand how ETL, data refreshes, and processing strategies affect reporting availability and performance. Document database structures, data sources, calculations, business rules, metrics, and report definitions. Partner directly with hospital leaders, clinicians, and business users to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
