Senior Medical Writer - Publications ApotheCom, an Inizio Medical company, is an exciting leader in the field of medical communications. Drawn together from several backgrounds including the pharmaceutical industry, research, marketing, medical and regulatory writing, sales, publishing, digital media and design, we have the experience and all-round ability to conceive and deliver the best quality medical communications programs. About the role As a Senior Medical Writer, you will use your scientific expertise to develop and deliver innovative medical communications projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical writer seeking professional growth and progression. Here's what you'll be doing: Take the lead role in projects where required and take ownership of the scientific/editorial component. Responsible for producing high-quality scientific written materials in keeping with project briefs. Assist with editing and proofreading of text written by other team members and provide constructive feedback to aid learning and development. The role will involve reviewing and interpreting data from preclinical and clinical research articles as the basis of creating scientific written materials in keeping with project briefs. Remains current with medical developments and conducts literature searches to ensure delivery of accurate medical information for assigned projects. Participate in client meetings / teleconferences and attend scientific meetings as required. Synthesizes clinical trial data and translates relevance for the appropriate physician and consumer audiences according to client requirements for assigned projects.
