Documentation may include Field Change Requests, System Operational Verification Test procedures, Application Configuration Guides, cybersecurity documentation, system administration guides, installation procedures, test plans, technical manuals, and related engineering documentation
Working with engineers, testers, cybersecurity personnel, system administrators, configuration management staff, and Government stakeholders to collect technical information and produce clear, accurate, and controlled documentation
Creating and updating technical diagrams in Microsoft Visio, managing documents in Confluence, CMPro, SAILOR, SharePoint, or similar systems, coordinating document reviews, incorporating reviewer comments, and maintaining revision and approval records

#LI-JC1 Requirements Active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship
Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, communications, information systems, engineering, or a related field
3-10 years of relevant technical writing, knowledge management, configuration management, cybersecurity documentation, or Navy systems support experience
Experience developing and maintaining Navy technical documentation, including Field Change Requests, System Operational Verification Test procedures, Application Configuration Guides, cybersecurity documentation, test plans, installation procedures, and related system documentation
Proficiency with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office
Experience using CMPro, SAILOR, SharePoint, or similar Navy or DoD document and configuration management systems
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence or experience working within Agile or SAFe delivery processes
Ability to interpret technical source material and work with engineers, testers, cybersecurity personnel, system administrators, and Government stakeholders
Strong writing, editing, document control, and organizational skills Desired Skills Experience supporting Navy Fleet, NIWC Atlantic, NAVWAR, or other DoD systems
Experience developing and updating SOVTs, Field Change Requests, Application Configuration Guides, cybersecurity documentation, system administration guides, and installation documentation
Experience supporting formal document reviews, testing events, configuration control, cybersecurity compliance activities, and system changes
Experience creating system architecture, network, workflow, and configuration diagrams in Microsoft Visio
Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe processes
Familiarity with MBPD (or CDMD-OA), SPIDER, NSERC, or similar Navy systems
Familiarity with Navy engineering, installation, testing, cybersecurity, and configuration management processes
Experience maintaining controlled technical data repositories and document baselines Clearance Information
