May involve audio, digital animation, text, graphics, visual capture, virtual reality and more for applications including web, mobile, and simulation. Researches latest trends on graphic design, software and development techniques. Candidate will perform as a Technical Publications Multimedia Engineer supporting the Precision Fires line of business including MLRS, HIMARS, GMLRS, ATACMS, and PrSM programs. Position requires preparation of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals, other technical publications, Depot Maintenance Work Requirements (DMWRs), Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists (RPSTL) and graphics in accordance with applicable military standard and commercial requirements. Position will also coordinate and support technical meetings with the customer and team members to ensure compliance is met during exchange of documentation between associate and sub-contractors to ensure materials are developed in accordance with all applicable military and commercial requirements. Candidate will also assist with development and populating technical data in the Logistics Management Information (LMI) system compliant with
GEIA-STD-0007.
Basic Qualifications Working knowledge and proficiency with Extensible Markup Language (XML) and Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) Working knowledge and proficiency with Arbortext and UltraEdit or similar tools Experience and proficiency as a technical writer Working knowledge of
MIL-STD-40051, MIL-STD-2361, MIL-PRF-63002
for Modification Work Orders, and
MIL-PRF-63033
for Demilitarization Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat (Standard/Professional). Ability to write using clear and concise language that adheres to customer-established standards and conventions. Ability to research and write technical content for maintenance technical manuals including installation, test, repair, and troubleshooting procedures Ability to acquire and verify subject matter content by consulting with other disciplines engaged in developing products, observing production methods, referring to engineering drawings, notes, manuals, and similar publications. Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) development experience Graphics illustration experience and skills using graphics tools such as ISOdraw or similar graphics tools Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Strong technical background Ability to quickly learn new software tools and processes Must be able to work well in a team environment and work well with various levels of management Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and must be able to work with minimal supervision Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance Candidate must be willing to work overtime and travel as needed to support program requirements Desired Skills Experience leading or supporting Technical Publication Validation and Verification events Proficiency using Interactive Authoring and Display System (IADS) 4.0 software Experience working with stylesheets including Extensible Stylesheet Language Formatting Objects (XSL-FO), Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformation (XSLT) and scripting Working knowledge of Content Management Systems such as WindChill or S1000D Common Source Database Proficiency with Logistics Management Information (LMI) systems compliant with

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
