As a Technical Writer, you will craft essential documentation that clearly communicates the installation, operation, and maintenance of sophisticated electronic and mechanical equipment. Youll have the opportunity to collaborate with experts, contribute to meaningful projects, and hone your skills in technical communication, helping drive the success of our clients mission in the aviation and aerospace industry.
Responsibilities:
Craft accurate and comprehensive technical manuals and user guides following customer specifications.
Analyze specifications, notes, and drawings to produce clear and concise documentation.
Collaborate with editors and production staff to meet graphic requirements and deadlines.
Utilize cutting-edge XML, SGML, and HTML tools to create and edit documentation materials.
Consult with customers to ascertain precise documentation needs.
Serve as an expert consultant to departments requiring assistance with technical communication.
Conduct proactive risk analysis on flight and product safety-critical parts.
Observe and report any safety concerns, adhering to the Just Culture policy.
Carry out special projects and uphold safety standards as needed.
Requirements:
Exceptional research and grammatical abilities, with strong written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with an oral communication aptitude.
Comprehensive product knowledge and experience in aircraft or aero engine maintenance.
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency with PC systems in the current operating environment.
Completion of a relevant college program or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering technology.
Demonstrated writing experience with a robust portfolio.
High school graduation and relevant diploma training from a technical school or college.
One to three years of directly or indirectly related work experience.
