Position Summary Hive Group, a HUBZone-certified SDVOSB and multiple award-winning organization, delivers innovative solutions for complex, mission-critical federal programs. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer/Editor to support the US Army Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) Operational Contract Support (OCS) Support Services initiative. As a pivotal member of the team, you will manage the full lifecycle of complex OCS doctrinal products from initial research and drafting through final electronic publication. This role requires an expert-level understanding of military publishing standards, serving as the frontline custodian for compliance with TRADOC Regulation 25-30 and
TR 25-36. A
successful candidate will thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment—continually reviewing roughly 100 annual policy documents and meticulously managing strict, non-negotiable two-day timelines for Change Resolution Matrices (CRMs). This position is located on-site at Ft Lee, VA, requires an Active Secret Clearance and is contingent upon contract award. Position Description Ensure all publications strictly follow TRADOC Regulation 25-30 procedures, timelines, and formatting guidelines. Review approximately 100 annual policy and doctrine documents continuously for accurate OCS content inclusion. Resolve complex document feedback and compile findings daily into a Change Resolution Matrix (CRM). Submit completed CRMs to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) within tight, non-negotiable two-day windows. Submit recommended comment matrices to the COR three days prior to strict deadline suspenses. Research, draft, staff, and submit core Operational Contract Support (OCS) doctrinal documents. Produce foundational Program Directives, Initial Drafts, Final Drafts, and Final Signature Drafts. Review Army Techniques Publications (ATP) 4-10 and 4-10.1 on a recurring 18-month cycle. Analyze handbook topic needs and draft OCS Handbooks to augment core training manuals. Provide formal, justified memorandums recommending document changes or major revisions. Provide monthly running operational estimates to the COR for

submission. Gather annual historical achievements and future workload projections for CASCOM Doctrine Branch. Qualifications Must possess and maintain an active SECRET Security Clearance . Minimum of five (5) years' experience writing and editing military doctrine or technical publications. Demonstrated experience creating, editing, and proofreading documents in strict accordance with TR 25-30 and 25-36 . Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of six (6) years' experience using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Pro. Prior experience in Operational Contract Support (OCS) is highly preferred. Compensation and Benefits The estimated compensation range for this position is between $78,000 and $85,000 annually. Actual salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's specialized skills, certifications, and years of experience.
