Description:
This role will support a department initiative to identify consolidate and modernize compliance procedures across multiple teams and a diverse range of technologies and devices. The objective is to reduce fragmentation eliminate duplicative procedures and ensure compliance activities are consistently documented managed and updated. The position will play a key role in aligning procedures with a centralized Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) application to drive standardization improve transparency and enhance audit readiness across the organization. Responsibilities include streamlining procedural content reducing the overall number of procedures and helping establish a sustainable framework to keep documentation current accurate and consistently maintained over time. This initiative is designed to reduce manual effort increase efficiency and deliver a scalable reliable compliance framework that supports long term operational and regulatory success for all participating teams.Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
NERC CIP
Compliance knowledge Procedure writing and technical writing skills Project coordination/ project management skillsSoft Skills:
Familiar with IT infrastructure assets such as Windows devices hardened appliances switches firewalls etc. Strong communication skills both verbal and written Ability to lead collaborate or work effectively in a variety of teams including multi-disciplinary teams Extremely organized ability to develop task sequence and track multiple deliverables Analytical skillsDesired Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Familiar with AI and using AI tools for efficient assignment outputs Familiar with GRC applications Governance Risk and Compliance toolsRequired Years of Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience as aTechnical Writer Required Education:
