Job Description

ActioNet is seeking a Technical Writer located in Vienna, VA. Responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation and program deliverables, translating complex technical content into understandable language while ensuring compliance with standards and supporting project teams.
Responsibilities:
Assists in the creation, editing, and maintenance of technical documentation and program deliverables, translating complex technical content into clear and concise language. Collaborates with subject matter experts, Program Managers, Project Managers, and engineers to develop SOPs, policies, procedures, and documentation for DoD network modernization projects. Ensures compliance with program requirements and corporate standards, maintains configuration control, revises content based on editorial feedback, and generates innovative content and workflow solutions. Proficient in MS Office Suite and graphic tools such as Adobe Illustrator.
Requirements:
Degree:
Minimum of bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Business Administration, or Technical Writing;
Experience:
5 years with BA/BS degree;
Commensurate:
N/A; degree required;
Specific Skills:
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); proficient with graphic tools such as Adobe Illustrator; experience supporting DoD projects, specifically network modernization projects;
Certifications:
