Bingen, WA Onsite Job Summary:
As a technical writer, the engineer will be responsible to create Work Instruction Documents for Installation/Removal and Assembly/Disassembly, etc. activities for the unmanned aerial system, sub-system, incorporating step wise process instructions with illustrations/pictures for each activity/task. Experience in Assembly and Disassembly or Installation and Removal processes of aerospace components (Unmanned Aerial System). Experience in working at aerospace manufacturing shop floor (Able to work in factory environment). Well versed with manufacturing test setups procedures. Ability to interact with cross functional teams within the manufacturing unit, liaise with Aerovel shop personnel, technicians, SME, other stakeholders and gather inputs. Ability to perform input/impact analysis for adequacy, perform self-review of the manual/documents. Experience in writing work instructions and training documents for aerospace components using MS office tools as per OEM requirements. Proficiency in MS word and usage of Styles and, prepare the style guide as per OEM requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, often in cross-functional teams. Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
