Tech Writer I (5988) Location Keyport, Washington Job Code 5988 # of Openings 1 GVI, Inc. seeks a Tech Writer I to provide Configuration Management and technical support on behalf of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport in Keyport, Washington.
Position Responsibilities:
Database Management:
Maintain the Torpedo and Targets configuration baseline. Conduct Audits to assure accuracy in deliverables. Perform historical research for old serial numbers and drawing records. Perform serial number assignment and database maintenance. Maintain confidential and secret inventory of drawings and change documents.
Document Reviews:
Review Engineering drawings for NEW and
REVISED NAVSEA
drawings. Document reviews to provide feedback on specifications and standards. Ensure drawings are formatted to current specifications and standards. Verify Associated drawing notes and part lists are accurate. Attend meetings as required.
Position Requirements:
Must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite Position is located in Keyport, Washington
