Machinery Maintenance Mechanic - CNC & Industrial Equipment Maintenance Position Overview Founded in 1979, Systems Resource Management, Inc. (SRM) is a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor providing engineering, technical, manufacturing, and industrial support services to the United States Navy. SRM is seeking an experienced Machinery Maintenance Mechanic with strong CNC maintenance and repair experience to support operations at NUWC Keyport. Primary Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, perform preventative maintenance and repair CNC machines, manual machine tools, and industrial equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, and controls-related equipment problems and recommend replacement parts. Maintain and repair equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, saws, hydraulic presses, fabrication equipment, and supporting air and water systems. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, technical manuals, engineering specifications, and manufacturer documentation. Maintain accurate electronic records of maintenance, repairs, adjustments, calibrations, equipment condition, and recommended corrective actions. Follow established Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and applicable Government safety requirements. Required Qualifications Experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, CNC equipment, machine tools, or electromechanical systems. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and the ability to interpret drawings, schematics, manuals, and equipment documentation. Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance in an industrial, manufacturing, machine-shop, shipyard, depot, or similar environment and using electronic maintenance systems to research problems and document work. Ability to perform the physical requirements of industrial maintenance work, including lifting approximately 40-50 pounds when required. S. citizenship required and must be able to obtain and maintain the Department of Defense security clearance required for the position. Preferred Qualifications CNC programming or machining experience. Experience with manual lathes, mills, grinders, saws and press brakes. Technical education or formal training in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, machining, electrical/electronics, mechanical technology, or a related field. Previous Navy or DoD regulated industrial maintenance experience.
