Job Description
CashmanKatz, one of Connecticut's leading full-service digital advertising agencies, is looking for a talented Part-Time Video Editor to join our creative production team. This position offers 3 days per week with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate. What You'll Do
- Edit broadcast television commercials, digital campaigns, social media content, and corporate videos.
- Collaborate with producers, directors, editors, and creative staff to bring concepts to life.
- Create motion graphics, titles, and graphic treatments for video and social media.
- Prepare and deliver projects for broadcast, streaming, web, and social media platforms.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Assist on video shoots and train in our production workflow. Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience using Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut.
- Strong demo reel showcasing editing, storytelling, pacing, and visual creativity.
- Experience creating graphics, animated text, and motion design for video.
- Solid understanding of video and audio workflows, codecs, compression, and delivery specifications for broadcast and digital platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment. Bonus Skills
- Experience with Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
- Color correction and audio mixing experience.
- Camera, lighting, or on-location production experience is a plus. Position Details
