Seeking a social media associate for a management company and independent record label in the Orlando area, working primarily in rock and alternative music genres. Reporting to the company's Digital Marketing Director, the role centers on day-to-day posting and upkeep across the artists' social platforms: publishing content on schedule, writing captions, announcing tour dates, community management and keeping accounts accurate and active. Graphic formatting assistance and basic video editing skills helpful for supporting role. Responsibilities Carry out daily posting across social channels, accurately and on schedule Write captions, announcements, and post copy Announce tour dates and keep priorities current across platforms and artist sites Maintain websites, streaming profiles, and social bios for accuracy, including light website edits Check ticketing sites for accuracy Keep content calendars current and coordinate scheduling Help marketing director manage fan communities Assist with email and artist communications (Mailchimp, Laylo, Bandsintown) Track platform trends and engagement Assist with graphic formatting and basic video edits for posts as needed Support merch drops and online store updates Report data insights to team Qualifications Fluency across all major social platforms, with instincts for social strategy Strong communication skills and clean, error-free copy Organized and reliable, ability to juggle multiple responsibilities Basic design skills (Photoshop, Canva, or similar) and comfort with short-form video editing Willingness to learn about the music business and best practices College degree a plus but not required with relevant experience Basic
