About the Opportunity FreeCast is looking for a Streaming Video Editor to join our creative team in Orlando. This is an opportunity for an experienced editor who enjoys taking content from raw footage to polished, broadcast-ready programming—and who wants to see their work reach audiences across today's growing streaming television landscape. You'll work on content created for FreeCast's FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) channels, editing both long-form television programming and short-form promotional content. We're looking for someone who is creative, technically confident, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from edit through final delivery. What You Need to Succeed 3-5 years of professional video editing experience in post-production, television/news, advertising, broadcast, or a similar production environment Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro Experience editing long-form broadcast content , including approximately 22-48 minute programming Experience creating short-form broadcast/promotional content , including :15, :30, and :60 spots Ability to work within and make adjustments to existing Adobe After Effects projects Experience encoding and transcoding video using Adobe Media Encoder Understanding of professional video formats, workflows, and delivery requirements Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality while working against deadlines Ability to troubleshoot common editing and software issues independently Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned projects Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative production environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working with broadcast television, streaming, OTT, or FAST channel content Experience in a television station, post-production house, advertising agency, news environment, or media company Working knowledge of motion graphics and the ability to modify existing elements such as lower thirds and other broadcast graphics Experience managing multiple projects or deliverables in a deadline-driven production environment A portfolio or demo reel demonstrating both long-form and short-form editing capabilities Key Duties & Responsibilities Edit television programming for distribution across FreeCast's FAST channels Create polished long-form programs, including approximately 22-minute and other broadcast-length content Repurpose long-form programming into :15, :30, and occasional :60 promotional spots Prepare content for broadcast and streaming delivery Navigate existing After Effects projects and make adjustments to graphics, lower thirds, and other assets as needed Encode and transcode content using Adobe Media Encoder Maintain consistency and quality across video, audio, graphics, and final deliverables Troubleshoot editing, software, and workflow issues and take initiative in finding solutions Organize project files and assets according to established production workflows Manage deadlines and multiple assignments in a fast-paced production environment Collaborate with the Video Editing Manager and other stakeholders while taking ownership of assigned projects Incorporate feedback efficiently and deliver revised content within established timelines What Are FAST Channels?
