Job Description

Content Director (Full Stack) Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning Winter Park, FL Job Details Full-time From $50,000 a year 23 hours ago Qualifications Research High school diploma or GED Content creation Lighting for video production Media editing tools Full Job Description We are looking for a full-stack Content Director who can own the entire content operation—from strategy and concept development through pre-production, filming, editing, publishing, and performance review. This is not a role for someone to show up with a camera and be told what to film. We need someone who can develop a creative concept, build the plan, direct the people involved, capture the content, and produce. You will begin by working closely with the founders to understand the vision, the companies, and the voices behind them. The goal is for you to eventually run the content operation entirely—allowing the founders to contribute their knowledge, personalities, and ideas without having to manage the process behind every piece of content. This is a hands-on creative leadership position for someone who can think like a director, organize like a producer, and execute like a highly capable creator. The Companies Most of the content will be built around two growing Orlando companies: powerhouse, a premium exterior cleaning company, and a real estate company that buys, renovates, and flips houses. The companies operate alongside one another and share an office in Winter Park. You will have consistent access to the founders, team members, customers, projects, properties, renovations, and real decisions behind growing both businesses. The Content We Are Building This role spans several types of content, each requiring a different creative approach, production style, and definition of success. Founder Personal Brands We are building long-form and short-form personal brand content around the founders. Long-form content will primarily include structured YouTube videos, business and real estate stories, educational content, and behind-the-scenes coverage of what it actually looks like to build the companies. You will help turn the founders' knowledge, experiences, and rough ideas into clear concepts with compelling structure and a reason for the viewer to keep watching. Short-form content will include original videos as well as stories, lessons, and moments extracted from larger productions and adapted for social platforms. Brand Content and Short-Film Series We want to create recurring, recognizable content series that feel more like entertainment than ordinary company social media. This includes cinematic short films, recurring episodic formats, real stories from the field, renovation stories, and creative campaigns that give each company a distinct identity. Paid and Creative Advertising You will help develop and produce advertisements designed to generate business—not simply look impressive. This includes developing concepts, hooks, scripts, visual approaches, offers, and variations for testing. Some advertisements may be highly produced. Others may need to feel direct, natural, and native to the platform. You should be interested in understanding why an advertisement performs, not only whether it looks good. What You Will Own Develop the overall content direction across the companies and founder brands Build and manage the content calendar Develop original ideas, recurring series, campaigns, and creative formats Turn rough ideas from the founders into clear, executable concepts Research topics and develop outlines, scripts, interview questions, shot lists, and production plans Schedule shoots, coordinate the people involved, and make sure every production is prepared Direct founders, employees, technicians, customers, and others who may not be experienced on camera Own the filming, lighting, audio, and visual execution of each production Edit short-form and long-form content with strong story structure, pacing, sound, and visual judgment Repurpose larger productions into multiple useful pieces of content Manage publishing, organization, deadlines, and the full content pipeline Review performance and use what you learn to improve future concepts and execution Build repeatable systems for planning, production, editing, approval, publishing, and archiving Eventually recruit and lead additional editors, videographers, freelancers, or creative team members as the operation grows Some content should be polished and cinematic. Some should be fast, direct, and captured in real time. A strong Content Director understands when each approach is appropriate and can make both feel intentional. Who This Is For You may not have held the official title of Content Director yet, but you should already think beyond filming and editing.
You are someone who:
Can take a project from an undeveloped idea to a finished, published piece Brings strong ideas instead of waiting to be told what to make Can create structure around busy people and ideas that are still developing Knows how to plan and run an organized production Is comfortable directing people who are not professional actors or experienced on camera Has strong judgment in storytelling, composition, lighting, pacing, sound, and design Understands that long-form content requires structure, tension, progression, and retention Balances high creative standards with the speed and consistency required to build an audience Is organized, dependable, resourceful, and able to manage several active projects Is interested in business, real estate, branding, audience growth, and why content performs Wants the responsibility of building and eventually leading a serious content operation We are not expecting someone who has already led a large creative department. We are looking for someone with enough experience to contribute immediately, enough range to operate across the full content stack, and enough ambition to grow into the complete opportunity. If you are not an extremely hard worker and are not ambitious, this will not be a fit. What You Need Your own professional production equipment suitable for short-form and long-form content. We will invest in equipment as we progress. At minimum, a capable camera and lenses, professional audio equipment, lighting, stabilization equipment, and a reliable editing setup Strong experience with editing platform(s) Work that demonstrates strong creative judgment and technical ability Evidence that you have planned and executed content—not only filmed or edited someone else's plan Reliable transportation and the ability to film at locations throughout Central Florida The ability to work full-time and in person from our office in Winter Park, Florida Professional gear is a requirement for this position, but gear alone is not enough. We care equally about how you think, plan, communicate, direct, solve problems, and finish what you start. The Opportunity This is an opportunity to build the content operation while the companies are still early enough for your work to shape what they become. You will not be inheriting a finished playbook. You will help create the formats, systems, visual language, and creative standards that define the companies and founder brands moving forward. As the companies, audiences, and content output grow, the opportunity grows with them. The long-term path is to build and lead an internal creative team, take ownership of larger productions and original series, and become the person responsible for the media presence surrounding the companies and their founders. We are looking for someone who wants more than a collection of freelance projects. We want someone who sees the chance to build a body of work, a team, and a creative operation that can become significantly larger than the position is today.
