• John Deere (East Moline / Milan, IL) This is an outstanding, highly stable 1+ year contract opportunity paying up to $30/hr , including 1 week of PTO .

Operating 100% onsite (remote work is not available) at a 50,000 sq. ft. production studio in East Moline, IL , you will spend ~70% of your time editing, 20% assisting on-set/field video shoots, and 10% supporting general studio operations.

Position Details & Compensation Pay Rate:

Up to $30/hr (W2) .

Location:

100% Onsite at John Deere Visual Services Studio ( East Moline, IL / Milan area). No remote option.

Duration:

1+ Years (Providing solid multi-year contract stability).

Benefits:

Travel Requirements:

Travel up to 10% of the time for field shoots and location projects.

Physical Requirements:

Capable of lifting/carrying gear up to 50 lbs, navigating rough terrain, and working in outdoor weather conditions during field shoots.

Portfolio Requirement:

A link to your portfolio/demo reel must be provided at the time of application.

Visa Sponsorship:

Not available now or in the near future for this position. Core Responsibilities Post-Production Editing (70%): Edit social content, promotional videos, customer stories, and commercial projects using Adobe Creative Cloud; curate and catalog footage for the internal JD Stock video library. Field & Studio Shoot Support (20%): Assist video shoots on-location and in-studio, running grip, setting up lighting/audio, and operating professional cinema equipment. Studio Management (10%): Assist with 50,000 sq. ft. studio setup, equipment staging, teardown, and maintenance.

File & Workflow Management:

Manage post-production file structures, codecs, transcoding, and exports across multiple deliverable platforms.

Required Skills & Experience Experience:

5-7 years of dedicated video editing experience.

Software Mastery:

Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop/Illustrator) on Mac OS.

Technical Camera & Codec Knowledge:

Experience working with cinema camera formats (Sony, Canon, Panasonic, RED) and understanding video file formats, codecs, and audio editing.

Education:

4-year degree (or equivalent work experience) in Video Editing, Videography, Motion Graphics, or a related field. What Makes You Stand Out Motion graphics capability (2D or 3D animation experience). Prior experience filming or editing in agriculture, construction, forestry, or turf industries. Experience operating or working around heavy machinery. Experience editing for major corporate brands and executive leadership.
