Finding it — again and again, across different formats and styles — is this job. Magellan Financial is hiring a full-time Video Editor at our Topeka headquarters. We're a privately held, founder-led financial-services company that helps independent financial advisors across the country build and grow their businesses, and media is central to how we do it — our creative operation produces broadcast-quality television and podcast content, so the well of long-form content is deep.

Your job is the transformation:

turning that source video into short-form social content that earns attention, cut for pace, shaped for the platform, and varied in style rather than locked to one house look.

The work itself:

Turn long-form source video into strong short-form social content — this is the center of the role, every week Work across different formats, styles, and audiences, so the craft stays sharp instead of repetitive Own your edits in Adobe Creative Cloud, our primary production platform, from raw footage to final cut What you'd need: Demonstrated short-form editing ability — we'll ask to see your work, and it will count for more than your résumé Strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud Full-time in our Topeka office, five days a week — this is in-person creative work, and it stays that way The trade, stated plainly, is that the subject matter is financial services, and the standard is consistent, high-quality output at volume — not occasional passion pieces. If you need remote or hybrid, even down the road, this isn't the seat for you. What you get is an established company with room for entrepreneurship.
