A Video Editor edits films, primarily smaller film productions or video recordings of events. Edits film for review, and collaborates with directors and producers to create a final production. Uses specialized editing software. May supervise editing assistants.
5 Tool Productions is seeking a Part Time Video Editor to join our growing team. This position will be primarily located in Norwood, MA.
Position Summary:
The Part Time Video Editor will be a part-time position. There will be the requirement to travel to our office, located in Norwood, MA. This position will primarily work in our editing suite, as well as on-location at events and video shoots. The Part Time Video Editor will work with the team to record and edit videos for external clients as well as internal marketing purposes.
Candidate Requirements:
Relevant experience creating and delivering captivating content. Can confidently work within the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere. Has experience shooting video with professional video cameras, such as the Canon C200 or relevant comparable cameras. Develop, edit, and create scroll-stopping digital content and graphics for clients social media campaigns, websites and events. Assist with script development and storyboarding for impactful content Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices to improve the quality of our clients content Effective communicator, team player, and able to clearly articulate visual concepts. Demonstrates creativity, organization, responsibility, and commitment to projects both large and small. Demonstrates a high level of initiative and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Able to self-motivate and work independently on select client projects.
