Video Editor (Part-Time) Hornets Basketball, LLC Charlotte, NC Job Details Part-time 13 hours ago Qualifications Adobe Premiere Video storytelling Cross-functional communication Media editing tools Full Job Description Position Overview The HSE Digital Video Team is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Part-Time Video Editor to help bring our long-form content to life while also assisting with basketball and brand coverage. This role will support the production team by editing a wide range of content, from quick-turn social clips to longer player personality pieces, ensuring all deliverables meet the Hornets' high standards of quality and entertainment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Edit and deliver engaging video content for multiple platforms (social, digital, in-arena, broadcast). Assemble and edit raw footage into different, structured content series that fit our templates but can be enhanced by graphics, music or other visual effects Turn multiple projects over quickly to ensure efficiency in our content delivery Collaborate with producers, shooters, and designers to maintain consistency with Hornets' brand and creative vision. Balance multiple projects at once while meeting tight deadlines. Ensure all exports are polished, technically sound, and optimized for platform-specific requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills, Experience, and Abilities Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects and Davinci a plus). Ability to adapt quickly, juggle priorities, and deliver under pressure. A creative eye for pacing, storytelling, and detail. Team-first mindset, aligned with Hornets' values of hustle, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Experience working on long-form content a plus. Availability to work flexible, part-time hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
