Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Media Technician and become a vital contributor to our multimedia production efforts! In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of media equipment to ensure seamless audio-visual experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about media technology and eager to bring creative visions to life through cutting-edge tools and systems. Duties Transfer analog media (VHS, VHS-C, Hi8, MiniDV, cassette tapes, reels, and other legacy formats) to digital formats. Edit and process video using professional editing software. Ensure high-quality digital conversions and maintain attention to detail throughout the workflow. Organize digital files and maintain efficient project management. Operate and troubleshoot media transfer equipment and computer systems. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines. Learn new workflows and technologies as needed. Qualifications Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and other video editing software (such as DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar). Familiarity with analog media formats and the equipment used to digitize them. Background knowledge of VHS tapes, cassette tapes, film reels, and other legacy media is preferred. Strong computer skills and comfort working with video technology. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and openness to coaching. Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues is a plus.
