Hello I'm Jason I am looking to hire a video editor for short form 20 to 30 second videos for social media. I am starting a YouTube channel. Your pay will be $15 dollars a video or $450 to $465 a month. You will work along side me and another editor. We will be doing gaming and jump scares like the YouTuber Hyphonix does. You must have knowledge in Live streaming across multiple platforms such as Twitch Rumble and Facebook and hopefully Tik Tok and YouTube down the road. Must know how to create jumpscares. I am looking to work with someone long term (preferably) Responsibilities Edit short-form videos optimized for social media platforms, ensuring they are visually appealing, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and basic animations to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement Perform color correction and color grading to ensure visual consistency and professional quality across all videos Manage audio editing, including sound effects, background music, and voiceovers, to create a polished final product Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to understand project goals and deliver creative solutions Maintain organized project files for efficient workflow management Knowledge in Livestreaming across multiple platforms such as Tik Tok YouTube Twitch Facebook and Rumble. Experience Prior experience or strong familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer Basic knowledge of motion graphics creation using Adobe After Effects or Cinema 4D is a plus Understanding of lighting techniques for video production and photo editing tools like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Demonstrated ability to tell compelling stories through short-form video content Familiarity with color correction/editing, audio processing, and post-production workflows Experience with videography or filming is advantageous but not required for entry-level applicants Strong technical proficiency in media editing tools, content creation processes, and digital asset management system.
