$40 - 42 per hour We are looking for a talented, detail-driven Motion Designer to produce, edit, and polish high-impact video and motion assets for our marketing, social media, and customer-facing channels. In this role, you will bring product features and stories to life, using your keen creative eye and motion expertise to craft compelling visual experiences. The ideal candidate brings 2-4 years of professional motion design experience and is highly proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other industry-standard video production tools. You are comfortable working with raw source files, developing motion concepts, editing content, and refining final assets to meet strict brand and platform specifications. Success in this role requires not only creative talent but also exceptional production discipline. You must be highly organized-managing file hierarchies, naming conventions, version control, and timelines seamlessly to deliver flawless work under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Motion Design & Animation Create Dynamic Assets:
Design high-quality motion graphics, custom animations, and visual treatments for social, marketing, and web campaigns.
Storytelling & Concepting:
Translate raw design files and product narratives into engaging video and motion concepts. Engage the
Audience:
Build smooth, polished visual sequences that drive customer education and brand engagement.
Video Editing & Post-Production Assemble Video Projects:
Edit raw footage, screen recordings, product demos, and static design elements into cohesive finished videos.
Polishing & Effects:
Apply transitions, custom typography, sound syncing, color correction, and visual effects to meet professional standards.
Format & Optimize:
Prepare and export final outputs for various platforms, aspect ratios, and resolutions (e.g., social feeds, presentations, ad networks).
QA Deliverables:
Ensure all final video files are error-free, brand-compliant, accessible, and ready for publication.
Design Quality & Brand Integrity Apply Strong Design Judgment:
Maintain high standards across composition, timing, typography, visual hierarchy, and pacing.
Uphold Brand Standards:
Ensure all motion and video work aligns perfectly with established brand guidelines and product design systems.
Elevate Content Quality:
Actively seek ways to improve video clarity and audience appeal through creative editing and motion choices.
Production Management & Workflow Maintain File Hygiene:
Manage naming conventions, asset organization, version tracking, and final delivery files meticulously.
Track Project Timelines:
Maintain clear project schedules, milestones, and delivery dates.
Organize Revisions:
Log feedback, manage revision cycles, and track approvals systematically.
Flag Risks Early:
Proactively communicate timeline risks, resource dependencies, or bottlenecks to stakeholders.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication Partner Across Teams:
Work closely with product, design, and marketing partners to translate business goals into creative assets.
Present Work Clearly:
Prepare and present motion concepts, revised cuts, and final drafts for stakeholder review. Thrive in

Stay agile and collaborative when handling shifting priorities, tight turnarounds, and multiple concurrent projects.
Qualifications:
Top 3
Core Technical Skills Advanced After Effects & Premiere Pro:
2-4 years of hands-on experience utilizing these tools at an expert level.
End-to-End Video Production:
Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end motion graphics creation, video editing, pacing, and layout design.
Meticulous Production Management:
Proven discipline in asset organization, structured folder setups, version control, and strict file-naming conventions. Able to commute to Redmond, WA on a hybrid basis.
