Job Description
We're expanding our team! We're looking to take our Youtube channel, Gluck's Gym, to the next level. The ideal person is enthusiastic, creative, & shares our passion. They'll help us to deliver videos (long & short form) that are fun to watch, easy to understand, & entertaining. Ideally you're already interested in fitness and have some experience with home gyms/equipment and know our channel and style. We are looking for someone to fill a part time position with the potential for full time in the future. The ideal candidate is local (we're in Killingworth CT) but the position is hybrid (remote/local). Must be highly proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, ideally) but we're open to expertise in other software if you're willing to learn Premiere. As a family owned channel with a small team your responsibilities will be varied. Responsibilities Include Brainstorming engaging content ideas including thumbnails, titles, and other components of videos. Coordinating, filming, & editing content with the rest of our team Evaluating past content performance & presenting ways to build off it Editing & assembling video content, including color grading, sound design, & motion graphics Staying up to date with content & home gym equipment trends Maintaining video equipment Job Requirements A portfolio/examples of previous work. An organized person capable of juggling a varied schedule & tight deadlines Utilizing video editing software like Premiere Pro & After Effects to bring our footage to life as well as proficiency in Photoshop Strong understanding of YouTube, Instagram, etc and what makes content successful on these platforms A genuine passion, drive, and want to grow with us. The ability to work collaboratively and also independently Varied, includes building equipment, lighting, & etc. As a small business we all do a bit of everything. This is a part time 1099 employee position starting at 20 hours a week. You'll be working alongside our lead editor. A great candidate will have a lot of opportunity to expand their role including the potential for full time/benefits.
