Based on experience and portfolio About the Position Inceptions Media is looking for a creative and dependable video editor to join our team. We produce engaging social-media content and videos for service based businesses like blue collar & construction. We are looking for someone located in Morgan County or the surrounding area who understands how to turn raw footage into attention-grabbing content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Responsibilities Edit short-form videos, Reels, advertisements and promotional content Select the strongest clips from raw footage Add captions, music, transitions, sound effects and basic graphics Create strong openings that capture attention Follow each client's branding and desired editing style Resize and format videos for different social-media platforms Organize project files and completed videos Complete assignments consistently and meet deadlines Communicate with our team regarding revisions and project expectations Occasionally assist with recording content, depending on experience Qualifications Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro Understanding of current short-form video and social-media trends Good sense of pacing, storytelling, music and visual presentation Ability to receive feedback and make revisions Dependable, organized and detail-oriented Access to a capable computer and reliable internet Photography, videography, graphic design or motion graphics experience is a plus Spanish-speaking ability is helpful but not required Experience is preferred, but we are also open to talented students or recent graduates with a strong portfolio and a willingness to learn.
