We're looking for a skilled YouTube video editor who not only has technical expertise but also understands what makes content perform on YouTube. This role goes far beyond traditional editing. You'll be crafting high-retention, cinematic, and entertaining videos designed to engage millions. You should have experience editing for large creators (500k+ subscribers preferred) and an instinct for hooks, pacing, and storytelling that keeps viewers watching. Applicants must include links to past edits that reflect a style similar to Brandon's channel.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit 10-30 minute long-form YouTube videos and occasional Shorts Craft high-retention edits with engaging pacing, humor, memes, and storytelling elements Collaborate with Brandon and the creative team to elevate narratives and structure Implement data-driven editing strategies (hooks, mid-roll retention techniques) Add motion graphics, text callouts, and sound design that fit the channel's tone Organize and manage large raw footage files (up to 500GB/project) Meet deadlines and maintain consistent output of 2-3 videos per month

Requirements:

4+ years of editing experience (YouTube-first content preferred) Proven experience editing for high-performing YouTube creators (1M+ subscribers strongly preferred) Expert proficiency in Final Cut Pro (preferred), Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve Strong storytelling instincts , with an eye for detail, pacing, and emotional beats Knowledge of YouTube trends, algorithms, and audience retention tactics Ability to work independently and handle quick feedback loops Reliable computer setup and fast internet capable of handling large video files Passion for fitness and entertainment content is a major plus Why Join Us?
