Contract Video Editor 5 Tool Productions Nashville, TN Job Details Temporary | Contract $25 - $50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Attention to detail Graphic design software Adobe Premiere Video storytelling Media editing tools Full Job Description Freelance On-Site Video Editor - Live Event 5 Tool Productions is looking for an experienced Freelance Video Editor to join our production team for a 3-day live conference . This is an on-site, fast-paced editing position where you will be editing video throughout the event and delivering content with very quick turnaround times . This is a great opportunity for an editor who enjoys the energy of live events and is comfortable working under tight deadlines. The Role You will work on-site with our production team, taking footage captured during the conference and turning it into polished video edits while the event is still happening . The ideal candidate is someone who can work quickly without sacrificing quality, understands storytelling, and can make good creative decisions with minimal direction. You will be working on our on-site editing system , which is equipped with the Adobe Creative Suite . Responsibilities Edit video footage throughout each day of the 3-day conference Turn around edits quickly for use during the event and/or shortly after sessions Work with footage coming in from live event cameras and production teams Create clean, professional edits that match the event's style and messaging Organize and manage footage efficiently Work closely with our production team and take direction as needed Make quick creative decisions and troubleshoot when necessary Maintain quality and consistency while working under tight deadlines What We're Looking For Professional video editing experience Strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite applications is a plus Ability to work very quickly and efficiently Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, music, transitions, and graphics Comfortable working in a live event environment Able to take direction and work independently Excellent attention to detail Ability to stay calm and productive under pressure Experience editing conference, corporate, event, or live production content is a plus The Most Important Skill Speed. This position is not for someone who needs several days to turn around an edit. We need an editor who can receive footage, quickly identify the best moments, build a polished edit, and deliver it on a tight deadline. You should be comfortable making decisions quickly and producing quality work within hours, not days. Equipment Our team will provide the editing workstation and Adobe Creative Suite . You will not need to bring your own editing system. Schedule 3 days - On-site during a live conference Exact dates, location, daily hours, and compensation will be provided to qualified candidates. Compensation Freelance / Contract - Competitive day rate based on experience
