The ideal candidate will bring strong editing expertise, a sharp creative eye, and the versatility to support projects from concept through final cut. Professional editing experience is required, and a portfolio demonstrating your work will be part of the selection process. As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished deliverables, supporting producers and cinematographers on shoots, and independently planning, shooting, and editing short-form video projects. You will collaborate closely with copywriters, designers, and account teams to execute creative concepts and keep our content ahead of industry trends. Responsibilities Video Editing:
Edit raw footage into polished broadcast-ready deliverables including television commercials digital ads YouTube content and social media videos using Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable professional editing software.
Production Support:
Assist producers and cinematographers on shoots with equipment preparation shot list management and location scouting as needed.
Independent Production:
Plan shoot and edit short-form video projects end-to-end such as social media promotions product features and client testimonials.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work closely with copywriters designers and account teams to execute creative concepts and incorporate stakeholder feedback efficiently and accurately into revisions.
Industry Awareness:
Stay current on emerging video trends formats and production tools (e.g. vertical video AI-assisted workflows) and recommend techniques that improve quality and efficiency. Qualifications 3+ years of professional video editing experience (commercial branded content or documentary work); a portfolio demonstrating this experience is required Hands-on experience assisting on multi-camera shoots; comfortable operating a B-camera or gimbal when needed Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects Photoshop and DaVinci Resolve Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions tight deadlines and unexpected challenges on set Demonstrated ownership of projects from concept to final cut with a proactive solutions-oriented approach Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Experience with motion graphics or basic animation FAA Part 107 drone certification or experience operating drones (e.g. DJI Mavic) Familiarity with social media analytics and platform-specific content performance Strong creative instincts for pacing timing and audience engagement
