Job Description

Under the general direction of the Multimedia Production Manager, the Producer/Editor is responsible for producing and editing programs for Coral Gables Television from conception through airing. The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Creates, writes, produces, and edits programs for Coral Gables Television. Creates graphics animations. Provides audiovisual coverage of different events of the City. Provides audiovisual support for the meetings that take place at City Hall. At the end of the meetings that are aired, render a video file with the meeting that is shared with the city clerk. Take pictures of different events of the city, special locations, businesses, and profile pictures of the City staff. Creates promotional packages to promote local businesses and public service announcements for the City. Perform other related duties as assigned. Associate's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred. Two (2) years of experience. Valid Florida Driver's License. A comparable amount of training or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
