Entry-Level/ Internship About the Internship St. Pete Vibes is looking for a creative and motivated Video Editor / Videographer Intern who is passionate about social media, video production, and creating content that gets people watching. This is an hands-on internship designed for someone who wants to gain real-world experience in social media content creation, videography, video editing, and digital media. You'll have the opportunity to work on actual St. Pete Vibes content, build your portfolio, learn our content strategy and production process, and gain experience creating content for a growing local media brand. The role combines video editing and videography , so you'll have the opportunity to work both behind the computer and out in the community capturing content. What You'll Do Video Editing Edit engaging short-form videos for social platforms featuring local restaurants, businesses, events, attractions, beaches, and community happenings Create engaging hooks, captions, transitions, sound design, and visual effects Use fast-paced editing and storytelling techniques to maintain viewer attention Follow established St. Pete Vibes editing styles, formats, pacing, and content formulas Stay up to date with social media trends, popular formats, sounds, and editing styles Videography & Content Creation Attend local events, festivals, sporting events, restaurant openings, and community happenings Film local businesses, restaurants, attractions, people, interviews, and lifestyle content Capture beach, sunset, downtown, waterfront, and other lifestyle footage Shoot using professional cameras, smartphones, gimbals, microphones, and other content equipment Help plan shots and determine the best way to visually tell a story Organize and manage video footage for editing and production Assist with drone photography and videography when applicable What We're Looking For Reliable, organized, and willing to learn Passionate about video, social media, and content creation Interested in learning and improving your editing and production skills Familiar with editing software such Capcut or similar Comfortable using a camera or smartphone to capture video Creative and willing to experiment with different ideas Understands that social media audiences have short attention spans Comfortable being out in the community and interacting with people Able to meet deadlines and follow through on assignments Students, recent graduates, and aspiring content creators are encouraged to apply Important Internship Information The position is intended to provide hands-on experience, mentorship, portfolio development, and exposure to real-world media and content production .
