Job Description
Position Overview The Rockford Rivets are seeking a qualified individual to join the team as a Videography Intern for the upcoming season. This position is an internship providing hands-on experience in collegiate sports. The Videography intern will work closely with the social media and broadcasting intern teams to put out high-quality video content for our social media platforms as well as operate cameras for games streamed of Flo Sports. The Videography intern will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Social Media and Director of Digital Media. This summer internship program runs from mid-May to late August. All interns are required to be available for each home game (36), along with any additional events assigned throughout the season.

This internship is unpaid, and candidates must be actively enrolled in a college or university program that allows them to receive academic credit for the internship.Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and plan video projects. Operate video and audio recording equipment during games or video productions. Ensure all footage is captured according to project specifications. Edit raw footage into video projects for Rivets social media sites using software like Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro. Incorporate graphics, brand fonts and colors into videos. Organize and archive video files into the drive. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing strategies. Work closely with coaches, players and marketing/social media teams to ensure videos align with the brand. Attend team meetings and provide creative input for video content. Will be required to work office/stadium hours on non-game days. All other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Qualifications:
Pursuing or have a degree in film, video production, media, marketing, journalism, communications, or related fields. Experience producing short and long form videos. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to collaborate in a creative environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail. Must bring own camera equipment for social content. Some baseball experience is preferred but not required.
