Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mastering Engineer to elevate audio and visual productions to their final polished form. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the precise finishing and quality enhancement of recordings, ensuring they meet industry standards and client expectations. Your expertise in audio mastering, video post-production, and media editing tools will be pivotal in delivering exceptional sound and visual clarity across a variety of projects, including music, film, broadcast, and live events. Duties Perform audio mastering to optimize sound quality, balance, and loudness levels for various media formats using advanced tools and techniques. Conduct detailed video post-production editing, including color correction, visual effects, and final cut adjustments to ensure seamless delivery. Utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects for media editing and enhancement. Operate broadcast studio equipment and live event AV production systems to support live performances and broadcasts with high technical proficiency. Manage lighting systems for video production and theatrical lighting equipment to create compelling visual atmospheres. Coordinate filming sessions and oversee media processing workflows involving audio systems, video editing, graphic design software, and media archiving. Collaborate with artists, producers, directors, and technical teams to ensure the final product aligns with creative visions while maintaining technical excellence. Experience Proven experience as a Mastering Engineer or in a similar media post-production role with a strong portfolio demonstrating mastery of audio and video editing. Extensive knowledge of audio systems, lighting for video production, rigging techniques, and theatrical lighting equipment. Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom for photo editing; Adobe Photoshop for image enhancement; Adobe Illustrator for graphic design; Adobe InDesign for layout work; Final Cut Pro for video editing; Adobe After Effects for motion graphics; Adobe Premiere for editing workflows. Hands-on experience with live event AV production projects including broadcast studio operation and live performance support. Familiarity with media editing tools used in post-production workflows such as Final Cut Pro, Media Composer or DaVinci Resolve is highly desirable. Strong understanding of audio/video processing techniques including mixing, equalization, compression, noise reduction, and mastering standards across multiple platforms. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly during live productions or recording sessions while maintaining high-quality output standards.
