International Sound Corporation is currently seeking a local Video Operators for the production and recording of a live television broadcast show for a new Harness Racetrack located in Corbin, Kentucky. The candidates should have the ability to operate video production equipment that will include digital video recorders, a computer based character generator, robotic camera controllers, and related broadcast equipment in a live environment. The candidate will be required to take direction from the Technical Director in the television control room. The candidate must be available to work all racing performances and have reliable transportation. The position is a part time offering 18-24 hours per week and is seasonal from October 16th through November 10th. A Training Day is scheduled on Friday October 16th from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Work shifts on racing days will be from 11:00 AM until 5:30 PM on the following days: Racing Days - Saturday 10/17 (Opening Day), Sunday 10/18, Monday 10/19, and Tuesday 10/20. Saturday 10/24, Sunday 10/25, Monday 10/26, and Tuesday 10/27. Sunday 11/1, Monday 11/2, and Tuesday 11/3. Sunday 11/8, Monday 11/9, and Tuesday 11/10 (Closing Day). The track is located at 777 Winners Lane, Corbin, KY 40701. You must be able to work all 14 live racing days to be hired for this position. The candidate must obtain an occupational license with the Kentucky Racing Commission at the racetrack after they are hired. The starting rate of pay for this position is $19.00 per hour.
