Mai Day Productions is a leading video production company specializing in high-quality sports coverage. With the spring sports season approaching, we're expanding our team of talented videographers who can capture the excitement and energy of the game with a cinematic edge.
Job Description:
We're seeking experienced Freelance Sports Videographers for the summer and upcoming season. Must be fluent filming different sports. If you have a passion for sports videography and the ability to capture dynamic sideline footage, we want to hear from you. This role requires availability during weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends when most games are played. We cover teams across the state, so we're looking for videographers from all regions — north, south, and central .
Responsibilities:
Film high school baseball and lacrosse games, focusing on cinematic sideline shots. Work closely with our production team to ensure footage meets our quality standards. Maintain and manage your own videography equipment. Deliver high-quality footage on tight deadlines.
Requirements:
✅ Experience in filming live sports, especially baseball and lacrosse. ✅ Your own videography equipment (camera, lenses, tripods, stabilizers, etc.). ✅ A detailed equipment list will be required upon application. ✅ Strong portfolio or reels showcasing your sports videography skills. ✅ Availability during weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends. ✅ Ability to work independently and capture dynamic, engaging footage.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with different camera setups and filming techniques for live sports. Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro). Strong attention to detail and ability to adjust to fast-paced action. Pay ranges from $75-$150 per game (per job payment basis) or $200-$500 for half or full day shoots. How to
