Job Description
We're looking for a New York City-based freelance videographer for ongoing content shoots with Scott D. Clary, host of the Success Story podcast. This is ongoing freelance work, with shoot dates arranged as needed based on mutual availability. There are no fixed shoot days or set end date. Examples of what you'll film: Run-and-gun street interviews with entrepreneurs, founders, and interesting people around NYC Walk-and-talk conversations, keeping the subject sharp and audio clear while moving Interviews and candid moments at conferences, networking events, and business gatherings Behind-the-scenes footage around podcast recordings, guest arrivals, and shoot days Direct-to-camera social content and supporting B-roll of people, locations, and city life What you need: Own a Sony FX3, FX30, or FX6 Gimbal or professional stabilization Clean wireless lavs or an equivalent professional microphone setup Ability to capture sharp 4K horizontal footage framed for vertical crops Confidence filming on the move, including walking backward when needed Ability to get around NYC reliably and deliver organized raw footage promptly A strong portfolio showing interviews, events, or social content you personally filmed Editing is not required.
