Our collaborative and innovative environment fosters creativity, efficiency, and professional growth. Job Overview The Videographer and Editor partners closely with the Creative Services Manager
  • Films to produce visually compelling and creatively engaging videos for a wide range of client projects.
This hands-on role encompasses the full production cycle—pre-production planning, on-set cinematography, and post-production editing using advanced RED and Canon equipment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and is passionate about visual storytelling, cinematic quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Production Planning:
Develop shot lists, storyboards, and treatments; scout locations; source talent and props; pull permits and plan shoot logistics
Production Execution:
Operate RED, Canon, and DJI cameras; manage audio and lighting gear; direct shoots either solo or with crew; follow set etiquette and represent FPW professionally on-site
Post-Production:
Ingest, organize, and edit high-resolution RAW footage; perform color correction and grading; create motion graphics and titles; master audio
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Director of Films, internal teams, and stakeholders to deliver polished, high-quality projects on schedule
Workflow & Standards:
Maintain digital file structures, adapt to evolving tools and plugins, and uphold organizational standards throughout all phases of production
Innovation & Learning:
Embrace new technologies including AI, 3D, and VFX to enhance project outcomes Qualifications & Requirements Portfolio or work samples are required with your application. Applications without relevant examples may not be considered. Minimum (2) years of commercial photography and editing experience OR (4) years of hobbyist experience plus (2) years of professional videography/editing experience Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, with a strong demo reel or portfolio Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, and After Effects Strong understanding of cinematography principles: ISO, aperture, shutter speed, frame rate, etc. Experience with motion graphics, basic animation, and compositing and experience operating sUAS platforms preferred Familiarity with 3D modeling, lighting, and rigging a plus Excellent project and time management, communication, and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently, accept feedback, and remain adaptable to short-notice project shifts Comfortable using Google Workspace, and cloud-based collaboration tools Travel & Physical Requirements In-office presence required, with shoots occurring either at the FPW office or at client locations. Work environment may include outdoor and indoor, and unpredictable conditions, requiring the use of PPE Ability to travel regionally and nationally with 1-5 overnight stays, sometimes on short notice.
