This is a remote position that will necessitate outdoor field activities. This internship is a communications and multimedia role , with an emphasis on short-form videography, storytelling, and outreach content development . The intern will serve as a video editor, director, and content creator , translating technical scientific information about water levels and flooding into engaging, accessible materials for public audiences. A successful candidate should be comfortable with technology (software and hardware) and exhibit flexibility and willingness to learn new skills and take on new tasks. Must have access to a computer or laptop. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work unsupervised and to collaborate with others. Demonstrated interest in developing community engagement and outreach skills. Creativity and ability to take conceptual ideas and creating end products. Problem solving skills. Ability to receive and apply feedback as part of the creative process Interest in communicating science information to public audiences. Excellent organizational skills.
